When recording audio separately or working with multiple cameras – whether for feature films, TV productions, music videos, documentaries or especially reality TV – jam-syncing timecode is essential. As more and more devices support SMPTE timecode, post-production workflows are becoming more efficient than ever. Instead of manually aligning audio tracks using their waveforms, timecode significantly speeds up the process, saves time and resources, and enables projects to be completed faster.

Long-Range SMPTE Timecode with Minimal Drift
This high-precision timecode generator is compatible with all SMPTE formats and uses a TCXO oscillator with an accuracy of ±0.5 ppm. This results in an extremely low drift of just one frame every 72 hours.

For even greater precision, wireless synchronization keeps all units accurately aligned throughout the day. Two convenient control options are available: Bluetooth 5.0 allows the TC-1 to be controlled via the Sidus Audio app, including jam-sync and settings for up to 48 TC-1 units over distances of up to 75 meters. Alternatively, the integrated OLED display and control panel allow up to eight devices to be synchronized directly via a proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless connection with a range of approximately 10 meters.
